FAQ

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on all orders. No minimum.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Zelle, Google Pay, or Debit/Credit Card, ACH via secure email link. All Prepaid Cards accepted. Money order, Bank Wire Transfer ($10 fee), Western Union, Moneygram

Why do you not take credit card payment on your website?
Kratom has developed a controversial reptation and many US processors consider it high risk. The only processors that will underwrite Kratom are overseas and charge absorbent amounts.

When will my order Ship?
Orders ship daily (M-Sat) at 12pm. We are currently shipping the next business day. Whenever possible, we will ship orders the same day.

Will I get tracking?
When your shipping label is generated, you will receive an automated email with tracking. Please contact us if you do not receive it within 24 hours. Typically, you will receive it in hours. The next business day should be the latest

What is your Return Policy?
30 days for any reason. Exchange or refund. Return shipping is buyer's responsibility unless it's our fault. Preauthorization required. Unfortunately, Kratom varies from batch to batch and sometimes even within batches. We're not trying to pull a fast one. It's simply the nature of Kratom (hand mixed blends).

Is my purchase protected from fraud?
Instant payment transfer services like Zelle do not have buyer protection. However, all the credit card companies have protection up to 120 days (Mastercard). Your bank will usually issue you an immediate credit once you file the claim.

What is Mitragyna Speciosa?
Kratom is an alkaloid rich (25) tree native to Southeast Asia that is in the Rubicae (Coffee) Family and is known to have psychoactive and medicinal properties. It's leaves have been used in Thailand and Malaysia for over a hundred years for it's Opium and Coca like properties (Nelson et al 2014). Mitragyna Speciosa has been used traditionally to treat muscle pain, intestinal infections, coughing and diarrhea. Studies have also shown that Kratom can improve the immune system, lower blood pressure, act as an antiviral, antidiabetic, and appetite suppressant. Additionally, it is also known for it's analgesic, antipyretic, antidepressant and anxiolytic effects (Suwanlert, 1975; Jansen and Prast, 1988; Said et al., 1991; Watanabe et al., 1997; Prozialeck et al., 2012)

Which strain has the highest Mu Opioid Receptor Score?
Any red, especially a pure one, will have the highest concentration of the alkaloid 7ohm found in Kratom. One study found 7ohm to have 15 times higher opioid score than Morphine, indicating considerably higher opioid receptor activity. Red Kratom is red because it is oxidized by the sun, not because of genetics. This oxidation converts Kratom's main alkaloid Miatrgyna to 7ohm. More recent studies have shown that the body might convert Mg to 7ohm. The plant does not produce it, it makes it by converting Mitragyna through oxidation. This oxidation presumably destroys some alkaloids which would explain the one dimensional nature of reds and why they are usually blended with green. This high concentration of 7ohm means a lower concentration of Mitragyna, and lab results will show a trade off between these two with the same leaf depending on how it was dried. Current offerings with high 7ohm include: Red Bali, REMD7, Red Jong Kong

How Many Strains are there?
There is really only one genetic strain documented in the scientific literature. In Thailand, where the tree originates, they only recognize one strain with 2 basic types: Sun dried red, and Shade dried green. There is a third type that the literature recognizes as having higher concentrations of 2 alkaloids, one of which might be responsible for the stimulating effects of Kratom. Legend says that it is actually a genetic mutation and was propagated through cloning. It is known as Maeng Da, which is slang Thai word for "cockroach, and allegedly has horned leaf tips where the vein meets the outer edge of the leaf. All of the "strains" in circulation in Indonesia are nothing more than blends, and not genetic varietals.

Where does the strain Bali come from?
It does not come from Bali, Indonesia. Indonesians, who I assume are responsible for the first blend, called it "Bali". They have since created hundreds of "strains" which are actually nothing more than a blend of the basic types of Kratom. There really is no evidence of the existence of Maeng da and has come to mean nothing more than the best blend that a supplier has. The Borneo Kratom Association distributes a recipe book for all of the various strains in existence. It seems like there's a new "strain" coming out everyday.

What are the side-effects?
There are some reported side effects, albeit inconsistent. It is mainly in long-term, heavy users. Most of the issues are gastrointestinal irritation. It may be the high acidity of Kratom, or simply the quantity of the botanical powder in the stomach that causes irritation. However, not everybody has reported the same side effects. The frequency and quantity used seems to be an indicator for how much a person will present. There does appear to be some level of physical dependence and potential for abuse, albeit minor. The American Kratom Association AKA conducted studies on this, which can be found on their website. Their research found that there was little potential for addiction. Withdrawal symptoms reported on forums vary greatly, but most report minor discomfort for only a few days. There is a subreddit dedicated to this: r/quittingkratom.
